| 特別的假期完結了！老師們在復課前一周已回校準備，他們進行會議、備課、裝飾課室等等。疫情令同學們大部分的時間都留在家中，很少機會活動，相信心情也會受到影響。經過與老師們討論，我們會分階段復課，先讓小四至小六學生復課。在復課首星期，我們為同學們設計了一個不一樣的跨科活動-「容光煥發新一天」。同學們在各科老師的指導下，以活動為主，為同學們減減壓，重拾群體生活的經歷。至於小一至小三，他們會於五月初復課時，進行相關活動。我們希望透過正向教育活動，讓同學勇敢嘗試，主動溝通去建構不同的活動。內容安排如下： |

The ‘Special Summer Holiday’ ended! All the teachers came back to school a week before to do the lesson preparation, meetings, classroom decoration and so forth. In this pandemic, most of the students stayed at home and they did not have chances for any activities. We believe that their mood was influenced. After the discussion with teachers, the school will be resumed face-to-face classes for P.4 – P.6 first on Monday, 25th April 2022 to Friday, 29th April 2022. In the first week of resumption, a multidisciplinary curriculum was designed called ‘To Be Radiant on a New Day’. Students were instructed to participate various activities in the lesson. It aims to help students release the stress and get back to the school life with their classmates. About P.1 – P.3, their classes will be resumed on Monday, 3rd May 2022. They had the similar activities to participate. It is hoped that students are eager and brave to attempt through these Positive Education activities with their initiatives. 在「特別假期」中，我們收到一些好消息。同學們在「2022新界西小學戲劇匯聚比賽」中勇奪三個獎項，分別是「最具公民意識獎」、「最佳編劇獎」及「優異演員獎」，多謝老師們及同學們的努力！另外，一位五年級男同學在唯諾箋堂舉辦「童言無忌——全港中小學兒童權利演講比賽」中榮獲高小組冠軍。 | ||||||||
During this ‘Special Holiday’, we received some good news. Our students joined ‘Drama Assembled Contest in New Territories (West) 2022’ and they won 3 trophies. They are “The Best Civic Awareness”, “The Best Screenplay” and “Outstanding Actor”. Thank you so much to the contribution given by teachers and students. Also, a primary 5 boy who joined the speech contest about the Right of Child. Congratulations! He got the Champion in the upper primary school sector.

早前部分同學參加了「社區風情」社區體驗計劃，他們在屯門不同的地方遊走，拍下一些美麗的相片，再加上表達心情的語句。他們的作品已印製成明信片，既美麗又有意義。我們會利用這些明信片去進行另一個活動，現在先賣一個關子，遲些再與大家分享。 | ||||||||
Our students joined a community experience scheme called “Community Customs”. They went to different location in Tuen Mun to take beautiful pictures. Then they wrote several sentences to express their feeling about the picture they took. All these pictures are made as postcard. They are beautiful and meaningful. We are going to use those postcards for another activity. I will keep it as a secret and share with all of you later.

一位六年級女同學的作品-《我是一隻小螞蟻》，獲刊登在第一百期《香港小學生文藝月刊》，並獲編輯讚賞。我們經常鼓勵同學參加不同的比賽，希望大家在不同的平台去表現自己，找出自己的強項及提升自己的自信心。我覺得同學們的表現越來越好。我們一起努力，為自己、為學校爭光，讓越來越多人認識我們。 | ||||||||
A primary 6 girl who wrote a writing with the topic called “I am a Little Ant”. This article was published in the Hong Kong Pupil Monthly Magazine (Issue 100). This article was praised. We always encourage students to join different kinds of competition. We hope they can share their talent in different aspects to find out their own strengths which can enhance their confidence. Our students improve a lot. Let us work together and make ourselves and the school become popular. More people will know LTY’s reputation.
